Do I need to know how to code?+
No. Spicebox is aimed at people with ideas, including non-traditional developers. Some projects require learning basic concepts and approving costs or privileged changes, but the AI can guide the work.
Do I need an AWS account already?+
No. The onboarding wizard can take you to AWS account creation and guide you back to connect it. You own your AWS account and pay AWS separately for resources you run.
Can Spicebox access my AWS passwords?+
The planned customer-side connector uses AWS workload roles inside your account. We don't ask for AWS root passwords or permanent access keys, and privileged work will require customer approval.
Does it work with Claude or Grok?+
Spicebox is designed around MCP and comparable tool interfaces. ChatGPT is the preferred initial experience. Support for other AI clients depends on their available connector and tool permissions and will be tested before being listed as supported.
Will the AI be able to use sudo or root access?+
That is part of the architecture. A customer-controlled break-glass session can authorize elevated work for a limited scope and time, allowing sequential commands and verification without repeatedly interrupting the workflow.
What's the difference between Spicebox credits and my AWS bill?+
Credits pay for Spicebox's job orchestration and execution service. AWS charges you directly for EC2 instances, storage, network traffic, and other cloud resources that you choose to run.
